CASE Study 4th Anniversary Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the CASE Studay 4th Anniversary Blog Hop!

I am super excited to participate as a former muse.  Thank you for the invite Iwona!!  And who else would I use as my muse as the forever talented Iwona, so let me share my card here quickly with you and I will show you the card that inspired me to create mine with.

My card with created with Lawn Fawn's Flutter By stamp set, which I watercolored in.  I love watercoloring and I had to cut out the cute butterfly once I colored it in and add some glitter to it.

As you can see it's almost ready to fly off my card.

And now let me share with you my inspiration, Iwona's gorgeous card.

But if that's not enough inspiration, the original inspiration came from Joni and here is her pretty card Iwona cased for challenge #184.

Well, as you can see everyone can have their take on another person's card, that's why I love the Case Study challenges so much.

Hope you like my take on their gorgeous cards and as part of the participation make sure you leave comments on the designer's blogs as there are prizes to win and trust me you don't want to miss out!

Here are the participating ladies today and I know you will be amazed by this hop!

Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

Tim Holtz July tag

Hi there, about a week and a half ago I was at a scrapbook retreat with my friends and we had so much fun!  I love to getaway for a weekend where we just sit and craft, chat, eat and ohhh, maybe have a few glasses of wine, too...LOL.  My friends and I do this once or twice a year and we found a wonderful home that is geared toward crafters that allows us to have some fun!  We are already booking for February...LOL.  Can't wait to go back!!!!

Anyway, my friends and I love everything Tim Holtz and we try to create his monthly tags as often as we can, so we decided to recreate the July tag, because we all just loved it so much and I thought I would share it.  Here is my finished tag.

It was super fun, I tell many cool techniques, down to creating sand!  Make sure you click on the link above to take you the tutorial if you want to recreate it!  Guaranteed fun for sure!

That seahorse die is so adorable.  My crackle work didn't quite turn out crackle, but I still like it.  It actually was funny when I was heating it...I think I put a little too much crackle paint on it, as it looked like it was growing genitalia and horn...LOL  I did cut them off course...LOL

You can see the sand on the bottom of the's pretty awesome with what Tim created it with.  Love it!

Anyway, just a quick post for you, but I thought I would share it, since I love it.

Have a fabulous day!

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 148: Frame it

Hello there....hope your week is off to a great start!!  Mine is for sure!  This week will be a short one for me as we are heading up to Northern California on Thursday for the holiday.  Visiting our friends there for a few days and it should be fun!

It's no secret I love to work with dies and I do have a nice supply of them..LOL.  I have been fortunate to design for great companies along the years and sure treasure every single die set.  Anyway, one of my sweet friends, Karen Maldonado is on the Cheery Lynn Design team and she is constantly teasing me with her gorgeous creations.  If you haven't by any chance been to her blog, you better run and check it out, as you will see some serious gorgeous creations.

I had a little time to play and decided to create a card for this week's challenge called Frame it.  So without any more talk, here is my card I created for this challenge.

I used quite a bit of dies on this, as you can tell.  Here is a close up of the focal point of my card.

Don't you just love that flower and the pretty leaves and flourish and not to mention that cute little butterfly, which I simply die cut, painted in with water colors and added Tim Holtz glitter to it.

So here is the list of the dies I used:

I think that about covers it!  Hope you love this card as much as I do.  I have more cards that use gorgeous Cheery Lynn dies coming up soon, so stay tuned for more enabling.  And I am sorry in advance...LOL

Have a beautiful day!

For my background I used patterned paper, and then I stamped my label stamp on it with deep pink color and die cut it using Vintage Labels Eight dies.  Then I used our Vintage Filigree Layer dies and die cut a deep pink card stock and stamped my sentiment on it and layered it on top of the stamped label.  Finally I added a pretty ribbon and my card was ready.

Here is what the beautiful Sympathy Vintage Labels Eight and Nine stamps look like

JustRite Papercrafts: Celebrations Sentiments and Cornflower Damask Background Stamp

Hello and welcome back to day three of our JustRite Papercrafts August release!  Hope you are enjoying the new stamps and the pretty inspirations.

Today I am showcasing quite a few new products on one card.  Let me start with the two new stamps Celebrations Sentiments Clear stamps and Cornflower Damask Cling Background stamp.

I also used two brand new dies called Vintage Flourish One Dies and Vintage Labels Nine dies.

To create my card I stamped my Cornflower Damask Background stamp onto a patterned paper using green ink.  Then I die cut labels from the Vintage Labels Nine dies and stamped the same background stamp onto them using white ink and on the smallest label I stamped my sentiment with red ink.  I die cut two dies using the Vintage Flourish One Dies and added it to my card to frame my sentiment labels and finally tied a jute around it.

JustRite Papercrafts: Elegant Fan Elements Stationary set

Hi there...welcome back to day 2 of our JustRite Papercrafts August release.  Hope you loved yesterday's new stamps and the gorgeous samples made with them.

Today I have a pretty card and envelope set, which was using Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps and also our SVG Elegant Stationary Elements Cut File Digital Download.

I had so much fun with these two new products.  I cut out my cutting files out of white paper, so I can alter it to whatever color I wanted.  Than I white embossed my gorgeous filigree corner stamps onto the card front and added Ranger Distress inks to it to get the background colors.

I die cut the smallest die from the Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor dies and stamped my sentiment onto it.  Finally I cut out two leaves from the Spellbinders Create a Rose Dies and colored them with Ranger Distress inks and added a pretty little Petaloo flower.

Now it was time to create the envelope, which was so easy, given the fact that I had a gorgeous envelope to work with in the first place and the stamps went perfect with it.  All I had to do is stamp the filigree corner stamps onto the flaps, which went perfect with it and the borders on the front, so now I have really beautifully finished envelope.  I could see this being used on some elegant occasions for sure.

And here is what the Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps look like

Hope this inspires you and now it's time to jump over to my fabulous design team mates blogs to see what other gorgeous creations you get to see with these stamps:

One more thing before I go.  Today is Tuesday, so we have a tutorial on our blog and guess what?  We are giving away a $30 gift certificate to one lucky winner.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Today's card was created with a new stamp set called Hope and Love Vintage Labels Eight.

JustRite Papercrafts: Merry Christmas Sentiment

Hi there...welcome to the last day of our JustRite Papercrafts July Release.  Boy, this was a long release, wasn't it?  I sure hope you enjoyed every bit of it though.  Lots of beautiful news stamps and certainly lots of great inspiration from our design team as well.

Today's creations are Christmas related once again.  I know it's July, but it's best get ready, right?  So with that said, today I am using a fun stamp called Merry Christmas Sentiment.  I decided to make a card ensemble with this set as it was calling for it.

I stamped my image on all of them with different color inks and colored them in with Ranger Distress markers and than die cut my panels with Spellbinder dies to get the the border look.  I choose to use different border for each, to create a different look.  For the first on I used Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders one.

And here is what the fun Merry Christmas Sentiment stamp looks like

And now I send you off to see one more time what my design team mates have created for you to oooh and ahhhh over.

Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day and the rest of the week.

JustRite Papercrafts: Merry Wishes and Retro Sparkle

Hello and welcome back to another day of JustRite Papercrafts July Release.  Today we continue with Christmas stamps.

My card is featuring two new stamps, one if called Merry Wishes Vintage Labels Seven, and the other one is Retro Sparkle Cling Background Stamp.

For my card base I used Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.  I had a lot of layering going on this card, and on my first layer I worked with a watercolor paper, which I gold embossed the Retro Sparkle Background stamp and watercolored it with light blue paint.   I gold embossed the label image onto cram card stock and die cut it with our coordinating Vintage Labels Seven dies.  I stamped my sentiment onto another cream card stock and die cut it using Spellbinders Beaded Oval dies and inked up to give it a different look.  To get a more layered look I added a pretty die from the Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments dies and finally I added a pretty seam binding ribbon, which I topped with Petaloo flower and trims.

And here is what the Retro Sparkle Cling Background stamp set looks like.

Well, hope you like our new stamps and that you like my little sample.  Now it's time to hop over to my design team mates blogs as they have some gorgeous creations waiting for you.

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!

JustRite Papercrafts: Christmas Wreath

Hi there, hope you had a great weekend!  Today I have another pretty card created with a brand new JustRite Papercrafts July release stamp.

I created this fun rustic door inspired card using one of our new stamps called Christmas Wreath.

I used a white card stock, which I embossed with Spellbinders Bark M-Bossibilities and went over with walnut ink.  I cut 4 panels to make the door look and built my wreath on that.

I stamped my wreath on white watercolor paper and painted it using Ranger Distress markers.  I cut it out and I popped it up with pop dots for the raised look.

I die cut a red label using Spellbinders Gold Labels Four dies and white embossed my sentiment and once again using pop dots I added it to my card.

Here is what this beautiful Christmas Wreath Stamp looks like.

Now it's time for you to jump over to my talented design team mates blogs, as they have some beautiful creations waiting for you.  Here are the participating ladies today.

Thanks for visiting and have a beautiful day!
