Hi there, hope you had a great weekend, today I am sharing a sweet card in honor of our newest Cheery Lynn Designs challenge, which is using doilies.  Well, I love doilies, regardless what shape they are, so I opted to not use the typical circle shaped doilies.

To start out my card I created a card base using two French Flair Scalloped LG Stackers Nesting dies and adhered them together at the top.  Than I die cut Dutch Scallop Square out of light blue card stock and die cut a square to fit inside of it out of patterned paper.  Than I die cut the larger of the Two of Hearts dies and placed it in the middle of the square.  I die cut the corners from the Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 and placed them in the corners.

I also die cut a Sweet Williams Strip out of blue card stock and created three different size flowers and placed flat pearls in the middle and placed them on the side of the heart doily.  I die cut the smallest of the Pierced Banners and stamped my sentiment on it and added it to my flowers.  Finally I die cut the smaller of the Leafy Flourish out of gold glitter card stock and added it to my flowers.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Butterfly Wishes card

Hi there, today and I have a very summery card here with full of flowers.  As I thought of what I could create for this week's challenge, well, the first thing popped in my head is the abundance of flowers, so I thought I would create a pretty window scene.

To create my card I first started with an A2 size aqua color card stock and I layered a slightly smaller yellow card stock on top of it and I die cut an A2 Frames rectangle Scalloped using patterned paper.  Than I cut a Window A and I cut around it to cut it out and backed it up with aqua and green card stock to create a backdrop to it. I stamped my sentiment in one of the windows.   I die cut Baby's Breath Flower Kit using red card stock and added it to the top of the window as decorations.  I die cut, shaped and put together all my pretty flowers I listed below and added it to the bottom of the window and added some Ivy Strip.

As a final touch I die cut Mini Butterflies out of gold glittered card stock and added it to my card.

Cheery Lynn Designs July Release: Joy to the World

Hi there...so I am here twice a week now...LOL, but for a good reason.  Cheery Lynn Designs is having the July release and our design team is showcasing the new dies.

So today I have a wintery card using the brand new and gorgeous 3-D Poinsettia.  I was inspired by this week's white on white challenge, so I mostly wanted to create a white card, therefore I decided to work with a white Poinsettia and I like the way it turned out.  I put a piece of gold glitter card stock underneath to show through the holes in the middle of the flower.

To start my card I created a card base by cutting two Deutschland Boutique Stacker A2 Frame.  Than I die cut the wreath from the Joy to the World die and placed my Poinsettia in the middle of it.  I also die cut a smaller Coved Rectangle and than die cut the words from the Joy to the World dies out of gold glitter card stock.  To make sure the white card stock pops I inked up the edges using Range Tea Dye ink.

Here is the list of the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used to create this card:

Make sure you hop over to the Cheery Lynn Designs blog to see what other inspiration is waiting for you to see with our new dies. I promise you will love it!
