Cheery Lynn Designs: Christmas in June card

Hi there, today even though it's hot in my neck of the woods, I have a Christmas card to share with you.  My card base is a 5.5" square.

I started out with cutting a Nautical Wheeler Doily out of white card stock and layered a panel on top of it.  Than I die cut Pierced Stacker #3 and gold embossed my sentiment on it by JustRite Papercrafts.  I die cut a Gardenia Strip out of red card stock and created my flower.  I also die cut the fringe from the Black Eyed Susan Strip and created the middle of my flower.  Than I die cut a Chrysanthemum Strip and created two little flowers.  I finally die cut a Rose Leaf Strip and used two of the larger leaves and a Leafy Flourish out of gold glitter card stock and added them to my card.

Hope you enjoy this little card as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Here is the list of the supplies I used to create this card:

Cheery Lynn Designs: Sympathy card

Hi there, today I have a sympathy card focusing on kraft card stock.  To create my card I cut an A2 size card base using kraft card stock. I die cut the largest size Deutschland Boutique Stacker A2 Frame using white card stock and layered it on top of my card base to show the kraft through the edges.

Than I die cut an Alpine Flourish Doily using kraft card stock and white embossed my sentiment onto it using white embossing powder.  I die cut Whimsical Butterfly w/Angel Wing using kraft card stock and the angel wing out of vellum to layer the kraft part over it.  I adhered that on top of the Alpine Flourish Doily.  Finally I die cut a Shasta Daisy using light pink card stock to create my flower and to create my center of the flower I die cut the smallest Sweet Williams Strip using black card stock and Black Eyed Susan Strip using yellow card stock for the middle.  I saw a flower like this while I was walking I wanted to recreate it.  Just LOVE nature and it's beauty and was glad to recreate it.

I sure hope you like this pretty card and that you play along our challenge.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Happy Birthday card

Hi there, sharing a card with you using this week's Cheery Lynn Designs challenge, which is to use corners on your card.  We hope you play along!

I created a 5.5" x 5.5" card base out of light pink card base, than added my card panel which I cut out of patterned paper and backed it up with a little larger black card stock.  I die cut a Fleur De Lis Doily out of black card stock and adhered it to the middle of my card.  I die cut 4 corners using the Royal Scandinavian Tag and added them to my corners.

Than I die cut two flowers using Gardenia Strip out of a white card stock and one out of light pink card stock.  I inked both up a little bit and built my flowers.  In the middle of my flower I die cut the strip out of the Black Eyed Susan Strip using yellow card stock and rolled it up and glued it in the middle.  I also die cut a strip of the Shasta Daisy using white card stock and inked it up and added the middle using again the Black Eyed Susan Strip.  I inked them up using different colors and added them to my flowers.

Next I die cut two of the Leafy Flourish using green card stock and added dark green ink to it and added only the small of the flourishes to my flowers.  I also die cut a Rose Leaf Strip using green card stock and added the dark green ink to it and placed it around my flowers.  I die cut one of the birds from the Feathered Friends dies and inked it up with brown ink and added it to my flourish.  Finally I die cut Happy Birthday using the Happy and Birthday die and added them to my doily.

Well, hope you enjoy this little card.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Smile

Hi there, I have a cute boy card once again inspired by this week's Cheery Lynn Designs challenge.  Feminine cards come easy to me, so I thought I would challenge myself, especially since I had this cute happy hippo I haven't played with yet from this release and I just knew he would make a cute boy card.

So I die cut my card base using A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped out of a dark blue card stock, than I die cut a one size smaller A2 Frames Rectangular Classic out of white card stock and one Lattice Circle Frame out of green which I cut down to match the size of the A2 Frames Rectangular Classic.  I adhered that on top of the white panel and than adhered that to my card base.

I die cut two different size Pierced Banners, one out of light blue and one out of the green card stock and layered them on top of my card.

I die cut my little hippo out of a light blue color and adhered it to a dark blue card stock so the dark blue would show through, and I cut off the access dark blue.  Than I die cut a red hippo as well and took the SMILE word out and added it to my light blue hippo.

Finally I die cut a Coved Rectangle out of red card stock and popped my hippo on top of it to stand out more and once again using popped dots added that whole element to my card front.

Well, sure hope this little card puts a smile on your face!

Hi there, I love Cheery Lynn's  weekly challenge themes and this week is definitely a favorite.  Love flowers and especially the Cheery Lynn Designs flowers so creating a card with roses was super fun!

I started my card by embossing my grey card stock using Hearts and Rose Leaves Embossing Plate and went over it with white ink pad to show the pattern even better.  Than I die cut two Pierced Stacker #3, one out of grey card stock (the larger ones) and out of light pink (the smaller one) and layered them on top of each other.

I also die cut a Royal Scandinavian Oval Doily once out of cream card stock and the middle part out of grey yardstick to layer on each other and added that on top of the stackers.

Than I wen to town and created all my flowers and flourishes using Tea Rose MediumTea Rose SmallJudy's BloomsEmbellishments #3 and Leafy Flourish.  I used cream, light pink and dark pink card stock to create my flowers with and finally I finally I die cut the Best Wishes Phrase out of dark pink card stock.

Hope you are enjoying this card as much as I loved creating it. :)

JustRite Papercrafts: Multi-Step Lilac Bouquet

Hi there, welcome to day one of our JustRite Papercrafts May release!  We have a fun release waiting for you, so let me start you with a gorgeous card.

Today I am sharing two stamp sets with you.

I created a card base out of water color card stock and using different colors I did a color wash.  Once it dried, I stamped my sentiment onto it. I die cut a Spellbinders Lovin' Diamonds die out of white card stock and using pop dots I adhered it to the card base.

Than came the flower making!  I recently got the MISTI stamp tool, which made stamping these beautiful flowers so easy.  So if you have a hard time lining up multi-step stamps, you need to own one of these!  Anyway, creating these flowers were easy and I layered them along with the sweet butterfly.

Here is what the Multi-Step Lilac Bouquet stamp sets looks like.

And here is what the Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments stamp set looks like.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thinking of You card

Hi there, I have a Thinking of You card to share with you today.  I decided to create a card base with the A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped dies using craft card stock.  I die cut a Lattice Circle Frame out of turquoise color card stock and cut it down a little bit to fit it onto a smaller sized A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped which I die cut out of white card stock.

Than I die cut my rose and leaves twice using Rose and Leaves out of water color card stock and a gold glitter card stock as well.  I also die cut a Leafy Flourish using water color card stock again and painted it in along with my rose using water colors.
