Cheery Lynn Designs: Happy Mother's Day

Hi there, I am up on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog today with a pretty Mother's Day card using this week's challenge theme!

To start my card I used the Horizon Rectangle Boutique Stackers Frame to create my card base out of pink card stock. Than I found a pink patterned paper, which I cut to fit inside the card base and embossed with the Hearts and Rose Leaves Embossing Plate and layered it on a gold paper.

I than die cut a gorgeous Fleur De Lis Doily out of light blue card stock.  Also die cut a Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 out of cream color cardstock.  Also die cut the pretty flourish pieces that come in the same tag set out of gold paper and adhered it on top of the cream color tag and finally gold embossed my Mother's Day sentiment which came from JustRite Papercraft's Best Wishes Clear Stamps.

And of course since it's a Mother's day card, how could I not add flowers?  I created a beautiful Chrysanthemum and two cute Sweet Christine flowers.  I also added the brand new Leafy Flourish.  Finally I aded a cute butterfly using Mini Butterflies with Angel Wings.

Here is the list of the dies I used to create today's card:

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thank You So Much

Hello there....happy Wednesday!  Today Cheery Lynn Designs is releasing brand new dies! Make sure you stop at the shop to check them out and on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog to see lots of gorgeous inspiration created by our design team using brand new!

So let me show you the card I created for today.

I started out making a 5.5" card base, than I cut out the gorgeous Wrought Iron die cut to make it as the focal point of my card.  I also wanted to use the new Curved Border Set, so I created a border with it.  I love how you can make different look borders with it.

I also used the new Leafy Flourish dies, which I cut two of, one with green card stock and one with white, as I wanted to use the flowers, which I water colored.

I stamped my sentiment, which is by JustRite Papercrafts from their Floral Basket Clear Stamp set onto another brand new die called Pierced Banners.  Finally I added a butterfly from the Small Exotic  Butterflies #1 w/Angelwings.

I die cut a Horizontal Fishtail Banner out of white card stock and stamped my sentiment onto it which is Justrite Papercraft's Grand Handwritten Sentiments stamps.   Finally I added a Fanciful Flourish and Olive Branches.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thank You card

Hi there, hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend! I have a pretty card to share with you using Cheery Lynn Designs dies and JustRite Papercraft stamps.  I started my card out using the Fiona's Magic Mirror die, which I die cut a water color paper with since I had intentions of water coloring it.  I die cut the Rose and Leaves die once again with water color paper, and left the rose white, but painted the leaves with green colors.

I water colored the area where my rose was going to be in with pink/orange colors, so it can show through the die.  I added Tiny Fanciful Flourish Right and left, which I die cut using gold foil card stock and added it to my flower.

I added a sentiment from the Grand Handwritten Sentiments stamps which I gold embossed on my card.

JustRite Papercraft: Pet Sympathy Sentiments

Hi there, back today with another April JustRite Papercraft release card.

Today's stamp set is called Pet Sympathy Sentiments set. Sadly as I was creating this card a friend was saying good bye to his sweet dog, so I am going to be sending this card to him.  I tried to color the dog's face, just like his dog was.

To start my card I created a card base by die cutting two panels using Cheery Lynn Designs A2 Frames Rectangular Scalloped dies out of kraft card stock.  I stamped a rectangle panel to layer on top of my card base with the new Burlap Chevron Background stamp.

I inked up a twill ribbon with brown ink and stamped the paw print border stamp on it with black ink.    It's perfect for that.  I die cut a banner using Cherry Lynn Designs Horizon Fishtail Banners using aqua card stock.  I stamped my sentiments on it.  I stamped the little puppy head stamp onto card stock and watercolored it.  I also stamped the heart tag image onto red card stock and added another sentiment stamp in it and cut it out to add to the ribbon

Here is what the Pet Sympathy Sentiments set looks like.

And now it's time to check out what my design team mates created with this stamp set.

Well, that is it for today, and wishing you a beautiful day!

JustRite Papercraft: Grunge Alphabet canvas

Hi, I am back with day two of our April JustRite Papercraft's release.  Today we have a fun alphabet to showcase, that you can use for so many purposes, such as cards, layouts, DIY wall art, or art journaling.

I chose to create an 8x10 canvas with a special message: CHOOSE YOURSELF

I recently read a book titled Choose Yourself by James Altucher, which I recommend reading for anyone.  The title stayed with me and of course the meaning of the book, so I decided to create a canvas with the Grunge Alphabet Clear Stamp set using our newest stamps and beautiful Cheery Lynn dies.

To start out my canvas I painted it with Gelatos, than I stamped it with the new Burlap Chevron Cling Stamp.  I used Creative Imaginations Rose stencil and molding paste, which I dried and inked it up with rose ink.  I used a medium size tag and painted it with Gelatos and stamped my sentiment on it.

I also pulled out my Whisper of Wings stamp set and stamped one of the feathers, painted it in with water colors.

I also used the following Cheery Lynn dies:

Here is what our fun Grunge Alphabet Clear stamp set looks like.

And now it's time for you to hop over to see what the rest of the design team created using our new stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you the best day ever!

JustRite Papercraft: Grand Handwritten Sentiments

Hi there...welcome to day one of our JustRite Papercraft's April Release days.  We have some beautiful stamps to share with you once again!

Today we start with a sweet set that I love so much.  I love the look of the large sentiments, so today we bring you our Grand Handwritten Sentiments clear stamp set, which I paired up with our last month release Romantic Wild Roses stamp set, which I love very much as well.

To start my card I stamped all my gorgeous flowers using ink, than using gold embossing powder I embossed my sentiment on the middle of the card.  I also used the butterflies from previously released set: Morning Glory Cling set and Thank you Daffodil Cling sets.  I stamped them with black ink using Versafine ink and watercolored them in and cut them out and finally just positioned them on the card.

Finally, since I used gold embossing on my sentiment, I layered my card on gold foil card stock and finally on the red card base.

Here is what the Grand Handwritten Sentiments clear stamp set looks like.

And now it's time for you to check out what the rest of my design team created using this set.  Here is the list of the ladies participating today:

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!  Hope to see you tomorrow as we have more to share.

Cheery Lynn Designs: Thank You card

Hi there, I am here today posting my first official post on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog.  It brings me the joy to share a thank you card purely made with beautiful Cheery Lynn dies.  I can never create enough thank you cards as there is always so much to be thankful for.

I really enjoyed making this card with all the pretty dies.  To create my card I cut an A2 size card base using cream card stock.  I die cut the largest Deutschland Boutique Stacker out of Prima patterned paper, and layered it on top of the card front.

Than I die cut a smaller Deutschland Boutique Stacker out of another Prima patterned paper and cut off the edges to a rectangle to fit in the middle of the larger stacker and backed it up with red patterned paper, so it can show through the pretty doily stacker.

I die cut the larger heart out the Two of Hearts dies out of Prima patterned paper and also die cut the word Thank you out of gold foil card stock and layered it on top of the heart die.  Finally I die cut a butterfly using one of the Small Exotic Butterflies #2 and die cut it's wing to contrast with it and added an orange color pearl in the middle.

Thank you for stopping by to see my post today and good luck to everyone entering our weekly challenge!

Announcement: Cheery Lynn Designs!

Happy Monday to you all!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend!  We are having beautiful days in my neck of the wood, and I am so grateful for that.  I am here today with an exciting announcement!

The past year or so I've cut down on design team commitments, but I've always been fond of dies and specifically the Cheery Lynn Designs dies.  So this time around I decided to try out for their design team and to my joy I have been invited to join this amazing team!  I couldn't be any happier at the moment as I am typing this post...I am really grateful for this opportunity!

Anyway, to celebrate the occasion, I have a celebration card, which is this week's Cheery Lynn Designs challenge theme and if you are not playing along yet in the challenges, I urge to check them out and definitely play along.  You could win a gift card to get some Cheery Lynn Designs dies.  How fun is that!!!  Anyway here is the card I made.

To start out my card I die cut the card base using Card Maker Rectangle Scalloped - CM-2, which I layered with a rectangle shaped layer.  I die cut a the gorgeous Mirror Mirror Doily Frame using white card stock and edged it with light blue ink.  Then I die cut the middle part of the Mirror Mirror Doily Frame out of white card stock and the oval part out of the teal card stock, to show it off.  I popped those on top of the gorgeous large doily die cut.

Next I started making my flowers and I used these flower dies for them.

I die cut all my flowers and leaves out of water color paper and painted them with water colors to get the look I wanted.  Once my flowers dried I glued them together using a glue gun and added them to my beautiful doily frame. I also added the pretty flourish to it which I die cut out of green card stock.

As a final touch I added my sentiment, which is a JustRite Papercrafts stamp called Graceful Sentiments and I embossed it onto Horizon Fishtail Banners die.

Here is another look of the card and you can see how beautiful these flowers are.

Here are the list of the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used to create this card:

JustRite Papercraft: Enjoy Good Times

Hello again.  Welcome back to day three of our JustRite Papercraft's March release.  Today we have a fun frame with sentiments that fit right into it and I have two versions to show you.

The sets that I am using today are called A2 Woodgrain Upcycled Frame Background stamp and it's perfect for an A2 size card.  The sentiments are called Stacking Sentiments Clear stamps and you will see how much use you can get out of this great set.

My first card is more of a shabby feminine card.  I embossed my frame with a gold embossing powder onto water color paper and using Spectrum Aqua Markers I painted it in.  I stamped my sentiments in the middle.  It's just really perfectly framing the sentiments.  Than I added pretty Cheery Lynn dies to it and here are the dies I used

My next card I intended to make into a masculine card, but for some reason my brain wouldn't let me once I added some paint to it...LOL.  On this one I added Prima flower and a Fanciful Flourish Cheery Lynn die, which I cut out of gold foil paper.

Here is what the Stacking Sentiments clear stamp set looks like.

And before I go, we have a new promotion just for you on some JustRite Papercraft goodies, just in time to pick up some goodies.

Hope you enjoyed these cards and now it's time to check out what the rest of my super talented design team members created.

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!

JustRite Papercraft: Coffee House

Hello and happy Wednesday!  I am back with a new JustRite Papercraft release March release card.  Have you had your cup of coffee yet????  Well, get ready to have some, just in case you haven't...LOL

Today we release an amazingly fun set that everyone will love and use a LOT.  It's called Coffee House Clear stamp set!  Here is what I made with it.

I used a kraft color card stock and stamped the coffee rings on it.  Than die cut a pretty doily using Prima doily die out of a turquoise color card stock.  I stamped my coffee cup onto white card stock and cut it out.  I stamped it one more time using red ink and cut out part of it and I stamped the sentiment on it and paper pieced it onto the cup.  Finally I die cut a banner using a  My Favorite Things Die-namics and embossed the sentiment onto it using brown embossing powder.

Here is what the Coffee House Clear Stamp set looks like.

And now it's time for you to check out what my fellow design team mates have created with this fun set.

JustRite Papercraft: Wild Romantic Roses

Hi there....let the JustRite Papercraft March release begin!  We are starting off with gorgeous flowers and I have a couple of projects I created with them.

This brand new set's name is Wild Romantic Roses.  My first project is an 8x10 gesso board.  It was my first time working with it and wow...this is what stampers need to create wall art with.  Canvas just doesn't do it, but this one does.  So I stamped my little heart out...LOL

So to start out my wall art I stamped my flowers with ink and in this case I used Stampin Up inks as they are great for multi step stamping and I sure had a little fun with them.  Than I used a Tim Holtz stencil and spread molding paste over it. Once it dried I added green ink on it to make it pop.

I wanted to use this as a wall art, so I thought it would be fun to have a pretty sentiment with it.  I hand drew the sentiment and painted it in with Aqua Watercolor markers, which happens to be on sale right now at the JustRite Papercraft shop.

Finally I watercolored the whole board and added a pretty butterfly die, which is also by Stampin Up and die cut it with gold foil paper.

My next project is a card and this time I used a new to me Spellbinders die called Bow Elegance Dies.  My sentiment came from the Rejoice and Be Glad Clear Stamps.  I also added some bling to it to make it even more elegant.

Here is what the Wild Romantic Roses clear stamp set looks like:

Well, hope you like the new stamp set and now it's time hop over to see what my design team mates have created.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
