Hello there, now that the flurry of my blogging is done for this week I am finally getting to post about my upcoming class this Saturday. I thought I would share on my blog as I am doing something different this time. I am also making my class available to those, who don't live near me and have no access to the store I am teaching at.

So, first let me show you the classes. My first class is all about BIRTHDAY CARDS! Early January I had a realization that every time I am looking for a birthday card I just don't have one...LOL. Pretty sad for all the cards I make throughout the year. Somehow not too many are for birthdays, so I thought why not design a class around just BIRTHDAY CARDS! Hence the birth of these cards!

What you get to play in this class with is JustRite Stamps, My Favorite Things Die-namics, Spellbinders and one of the cards is created using a Lifestyle Crafts die. You will also get to create with Creative Imaginations gorgeous IOD paper line and of course Luminarte Twinkling H2O's!

My second class is an ALL OCCASION CARDS class, and really it was born in the same line of thinking as my Birthday card class, as I just didn't have the every day sentiment cards readily, so I thought I wold just make it for my class. I bet a lot of you out there are in the same shoes! Here are the cards for this class, which uses the same products as the Birthday card class.

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge

Good morning! It's time for this week's My Favorite Things' Wednesday Stamp Club challenge. A super fun sketch again this week, which was perfect for our newest release stamp Die-namics Vertical Greetings Die and Stamp set. Did you pick up this set last night? I so love the sentiments in this set and the new Die-namics shape is amazing, don't you think?

Once again I used Echo Park papers, Lori Whitlock's brand new This and That line. And for the sentiment inside I matched it up with the Clearly Sentimental about Success set. I thought it went perfect with the card front sentiment.

Samantha Walker Creative Team Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Samantha Walker Creative Team Monthly Blog Hop! Are you ready for some inspiration? You should have arrived here from AJ's blog, however if you didn't, you should hop onto Samantha's blog, as that is where all the pretty creations start, and you don't want to miss out!

I had a chance to meet Samantha at CHA last week and we got to spend a wonderful lunch together, which I was so happy about. Samantha has been giving in so many ways, and is someone I look up to as an mentor to me. I simply admire her and appreciate all she does and her feedback on how I can grow as a designer. I feel so lucky to know her. Thank you Samantha!!! :)

Today I wanted to share a fun card for Valentine's day. If you have a Silhouette you probably have seen the card base I used in Samantha's portfolio. It's called Heart Chevron. So love the look of this, not to mention chevrons are so popular right now. Than do you see the pretty frame? It's from Samantha's newest Spellbinders die set called Antique Frames and Accents. I really can't stop designing with this frame!

My stamped sentiment is also Samantha's Unity Stamp set called With all my Heart. I also added some pretty Petaloo flowers, which I painted with Creative Imaginations Luminarte products while at CHA demoing with their Color me Crazy line, so I thought they would make a pretty addition to my card.

MFT February Product Tour

It's official!!! The My Favorite Things February stamps and Die-namics have been released, so you can shop now! And to help you with your shopping, our designers have planned to show you all our new goodies in a Product Tour. Make sure you check out all the designer's blogs as each of us are showing something different from this release, so it's just another peek at everything. And to help you with your list, we even have a checklist, which you can download from Kim's blog. How fun is that!!!

My card today is showcasing some of my favorite stamps and brand new coordinating Die-namics. I created my card with Inspired by Up, Up and Away set and the new coordinating Up, Up and Away Die-namics. The effect is stunning! Love having these new Die-namics, as it makes my life easier. And as in the past, I painted my balloons in and my clouds as well with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's. They are fabulous in person, let me tell you! I did a little dry embossing on my clouds, which I think looks pretty fun, don't you?

Papers are once again by Echo Park's Lori Whitlock, her newest line called This and That, which I love and I have one more card coming up with it tomorrow. For the inside I used the super fun Die-namics Skyline border and stamped some clouds from the stamp set along with the sentiment.

Scrap-mart - New JustRite Stamps and Spellbinders

Hello there, it's my turn to share something pretty created with products you can purchase (well soon if not yet) at Scrap-mart. My card is focusing on all kinds of new pretty products. Starting with the stamps, they are JustRite Stamps Botanical Butterflies Clear set. I love butterflies so much, so for me it's always fun and easy to work with sets that have butterflies in them, not to mention the sentiment is so close to my heart! My pretty butterfly was painted in with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's. If you haven't picked up any yet, check them out, as they have the most beautiful affects, so shimmery and just pretty.

My card shape, or at least the bottom part of it was created with two brand new dies. Spellbinders Classic Edges Two and I used the Spellbinders Classic Decorative Inserts Six to create the final look, which I LOVE. What I really love about these new sets is that you can mix and match and come up with all kinds of different looks. And how about that gorgeous frame? Do you love it as much as I do??? The set this came from was designed by my amazingly talented Samantha Walker and it's called Spellbinders Antique Frame and Accents. Gorgeous, if I may say so!

And at last, let's talk about the papers I used. I have been creating with this paper line the past few days and for today's card I pulled it out again, and I know it will be on lots of my future cards. It's My Minds Eye Miss Caroline collection. Yessss, they are available at Scrap-mart already for an unbelievably LOW price! I was super fortunate to receive some of these papers at CHA, but I also ordered them on Scrapace last week while at CHA, as I knew I needed more of it....LOL. Bad me, I know, but how could I resist such a gorgeous paper line? So what I am trying to tell you is that if you are not subscribed to Scrapace, you better, if you want to get your hands on some hot products at a really reasonable price! Last week they also had the matching My Minds Eye stamps and guess what just showed up at my door stamps yesterday? Yepp, the stamps and they are super beautiful and hope to play with them soon, too. I think I need to go to an AA meeting soon about Scrapace...LOL

MFT Teaser Day 6 - Pure Innocence Purrfect

Hi again, hope you are enjoying the February My Favorite Things Teasers. I sure am having fun creating with the new stamps and Die-namics! Today we are showcasing Pure Innocence and I chose to work with Pure Innocence Purrfect. She is super sweet! I colored her kitty the way my kitty, Fuzzy looks like. I have a beautiful grey long hair kitty and he likes to be held, well, sometime...specially when he wants to...LOL...gotta love cats.

Today I am continuing showcasing CHA paper goodies and this card was created with Authentique's Delightful line. And delightful it is, fit the sweetness of my little Pure Innocence perfect, don't you think? I also used the Chat Bubbles Die-namics and the beautiful Botanical Beauty Die-namics once again for this card and whipped out my Woodgrain Fence Die-namics.

MFT Teaser Day 5 - a' la modes Girl Talk

Welcome to day 5 of our My Favorite Things February Teasers. Today it's all about a' la modes!!! Oh, how I love these sweet little girlies! I choose to work with our soon to be released Girl Talk, which has sweet sentiments to go with that you will love to stamp up for your best friends.

These past few days I have been creating with brand new papers from CHA and today is no different. I swore to myself that I will highlight each of them in this release, so I am keeping to them. I was so lucky to meet Lori Whitlock of Echo Park at CHA, who's work I absolutely adore and I really enjoyed spending a little time with her and seriously LUCKY to receive her newest This and That collection. MFT Day 4 Teaser - Finishing Flourishes

Hello again, happy Saturday and here we are on day 4 of our My Favorite Things February Teasers. Today I have a super fun card to share with you with a gorgeous brand new set called Finishing Flourishes. I love the large sentiments, the gorgeous different size flourishes, I know for sure you will find that this is a must have set! I know I do. I decided to use the same canvas flower I created for my card yesterday, well, not the same one, I really made another one...LOL. I thought my sentiment would be fun stamped on the ribbon. What do you think? It's a May Arts twill ribbon and so fun to play with.

The papers are once again My Minds Eye Miss Caroline, just love this line and you will see this from me quite a bit in the future. For the inside I used more flourishes and another beautiful sentiment. Really the inside could be an outside of a card as well, don't you think?

MFT Teaser Day 3 - CS About Romance

Hello there, we are on day 3 of our My Favorite Things February Release Teasers. So many pretty stamps are being released this month again! Today however I am showcasing our Clearly Sentimental About Romance set, which has some really beautiful sentiments in it.

While at CHA I was able to receive a few brand spanking new papers and since I LOVE My Minds Eye papers, when I got these, I was super duper happy needless to say. They are from the Miss Caroline line. And how about that flower???? Do you like it? I sure hope so. I cut out the new Botanical Beauty Die-namics from canvas and painted them with Luminarte Twinkling H2O paints. So fun and pretty on top of it.

MFT Teaser Day 2 - Inspired by Lighthouses!

Hi there, welcome to day 2 of our My Favorite Things February Teasers! Hope you enjoyed our Day 1 with Who is That Girl! Today I have sort of an artsy card to share with you and that is with our new Inspired by Lighthouses, which is such a beautiful set. Love the images and sentiments, if you are looking for that perfect masculine stamp set, this set if just for you!!!

I stamped my gorgeous image and I painted it in with Luminarte Twinkling H2O's. Isn't is just pretty? And the inside of my card was kept pretty simple as it just didn't need anything else. Hope you like it.

MFT Teaser Day 1 - Let's Chat!

Hi there, I am still at CHA. What a fun time this has been so far! So many friends to see and hug! I sure look forward to this time of the year! Will be here till Wednesday!

Today it's time for My Favorite Thing's Day 1 Teaser and we are sharing a fun stamp set, our newest Who is That Girl set called Let's Chat! I have a pretty and bright card to show you.

For my card I used Crate Paper papers. I paper pieced our Who is That Girl's clothes and don't you just love the new Die-namics Chat Bubbles. I love these, as you can fit so many sentiments in it! I know it will be used a lot. And for my inside I used our new Die-namics Botanical Beauty, which sure is a beautiful flower.

Scrap-mart - JustRite Stampers, Luminarte and Petaloo

Hi there, happy Monday! I am at CHA and wanted to share some of my projects I created using JustRite Stampers brand new stamps, Luminarte and some pretty Petaloo flowers. You can buy some of these new JustRite Stampers at Scrap-mart and also all the pretty Luminarte Twinkling H2O's.

My first tag is created with Just Keep Calm Clear stamp set and Cling Lace Borders.

My second tag was created with the Spring Words Clear stamp set and the Scrolled Vine Background stamp set.

My third tag was created with the Chevron Stripe Background Stamp, which I stamped on the alphabet and for the background of my tag I used Cling Vintage Wallpaper Background stamp set.

MFT/Scor-Pal Blog Hop

Good morning! Today our My Favorite Things Design Team has a fun blog hop for you! We did some product exchange with Scor-Pal and thought why not create projects with each other products and show them off. So here we are today and sharing what we made with My Favorite Things and Scor-Pal Products.

I have the Scor-Buddy mini Scor-Pal scoring tablet, which I have had now for over a year at least and I have to say I can't live without this little tool. If you are a card maker, it's a MUST have in my book and take it with me to crops or anywhere I go, as I need that perfect scoring on my cards or projects I create and the Scor-Pal gives that to me every time. There is also the Scor-tape, which is one of my favorite glues if I want something really, really stick together. I use that tape for most of my 3D projects, as I know it will stay together. This is definitely one I always recommend in my classes. My favorite size is 1/4", in case you wonder which one to get. You can't go wrong with that.

For my project I decided to make a Criss Cross card, which you can find instructions for at the Splitcoaststampers Resource center by lovely Beate. This is actually an invitation and believe it or not it's for my ex-husband's girlfriend's birthday party, so I will be making 12 of these babies and the verbiage in the inside will be the actual invite, which I just didn't think I wanted to share....LOL.

And here is how the card looks like once the insert is pulled out. This card is using mainly Die-namics, however I also incorporated that beautiful flourish from our Own Your Story stamp set

Scrapmart - JustRite Birthday card

Hi there, today I am posting for Scrap-mart. I am at a training all weekend, but I wanted to share a sweet card that is actually part of my new Birthday card making class. I will share more about this class very soon, but for now, here is one of the cards students will get to make using JustRite Stampers stamps.

I used the newest JustRite Stampers stamps called Spring Words set, which should be available soon and I also used their Lace Borders Cling set to create this card. What I also used is a few awesome dies. For my card shape I used Quickutz Nesting Lace Circles die and for my label I used the Nesting Frame die 4. And how about that pretty butterfly? They are Spellbinders Wonderful Wings set which I love so much.

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge

Good Morning, welcome to our newest My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge! We have another pretty sketch waiting for you. I really fell in love with it this week and just kind of went into a slightly different direction than I normally go into, and like what I came up with. It helps that I added bling, too...how can you not love something with bling on, right??? LOL. Well, aside from that, I just like this sketch, so here is the card I came up with using our Inspired By - Caged Bird stamp set. I so LOVE the sentiments and images in this set, very empowering indeed! It's a favorite of mine for sure. Hope you take this sentiment to the heart as I did. :)

My paper choice for this card was by LilyBee Designs. Pretty sweet papers, aren't they? For my focal point I did some white embossing on white card stock and went over it with Distress inks to get the look I wanted, than I layered my sentiment label on top of it. I think it pops pretty nice. My bird was also colored in with Distress inks, so easy to do. And my bling is by Want2Scrap. Here is the inside of my card.

Scrap-mart - Happy Birthday card

Good Morning, hope you are ready for a wonderful weekend! I have a super busy weekend, which I am looking forward to. I will be at a seminar pretty much all weekend, learning about lots of new things, and Saturday night we are going to a "late" Christmas party, which I finally got a beautiful dress for and got my nails done, and sure ready for it. Hope you are having a great weekend up ahead of you, too.

Today I have a post for Scrap-mart, which I am excited to share about. I am also in the development of new classes, and this is one of the cards students will get to make. Let me know what you think of it. I used JustRite Stampers Shabby Chic Labels Four - Cling set, which of course coordinated with Spellbinders Labels Four Nestabilities. And do you see that pretty lace border? That is also by JustRite Stampers called Classic Scallop Borders One. Love creating with this stamp, just beautiful.

In case you are wondering, I painted my stamped image in with Creative Imaginations Luminarte Twinkling H2O's, so it's very shimmery and beautiful. Of course the beautiful doily is by MFT.

Welcome to our Samantha Walker Creative Team Monthly Blog Hop! Are you ready for some inspiration? You should have arrived here from AJ's blog, however if you didn't, you should hop onto Samantha's blog, as that is where all the pretty creations start, and you don't want to miss out!

Today I am sharing a card made with Samantha's newest Silhouette digital cutting file called CARD VALENTINE . I cut the file out of three different color cardstock, red white and pink. I painted the little leaves with Creative Imaginations Luminarte Twinkling H2O Olive Vine color. I embossed the red card base and ran my white ink pad over it to show the polka dot embossed pattern, than I just layered everything. The sentiment is also by Samantha from her Unity Stamp Company set .

If you have a Silhouette machine, make sure you check out Samantha's cutting files this week in the store as she just put in quite a few beautiful files just in the for Valentine's Day.

MFT Design Team Challenge - Masculine cards

Hi there, it's time for our January My Favorite Things Design Team Challenge. This month our team challenged each other to create MASCULINE cards. I don't know about you, but I lean toward creating feminine cards versus masculine, so I thought this was a pretty good challenge, indeed.

Luckily My Favorite Things has a few masculine sets, so it wasn't too hard of a task to achieve. For my card today I used Die-namics ALL-STAR Die and Stamp set and here is what I came up with.

For my paper choices I used My Minds Eye papers and for the inside I added quite a few Die-namics and stamps.

Hi there, welcome to My Favorite Things January Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Really. Only one more sleep till you can order the newest adorable stamps and Die-namics from the January release! I bet you are ready to shop, aren't you?

Today I am highlighting our Pure Innocence Berry Sweet stamps and quite a few Die-namics, mostly new. Don't you just love those little berries? Well, you can make them so easily with our newest Berry Box Die-namics! I can imagine putting some candy and give it as a cute treat to someone special for Valentine's day or for any day, really. I also used the Jumbo Monarch Border, the Mini Wavy Pennants and the Oval Decorative Doily duo. And I paired all this up with an older, but just as sweet Butterflies.

I used Echo Park papers to create my card, and my red strawberries were created with cardstock. Cute aren't they? And here is the inside of my card.

MFT Teaser Day 6!

Hi there....welcome back again to our January My Favorite Things Teaser days. Just a couple of more days before we have our release party and you can pick up all these gorgeous and fun new stamps and Die-namics.

Today we are sharing our Pure Innocence line, which is the cutest and I know you all love her. The one I choose to work with is called Paper Dolls and she has a matching border Die-namics as well called Paper Doll Border. As soon as I saw this border, I knew I was going to create a background with it, so that is what I did. I cut out 3 in pink and 3 in black and cream patterned paper by Lilybee Designs. I just glued them down alternating the pink and the patterned paper cutouts on cream card stock. I really like the affect and I will probably try out a few more combos with this.

I also used our new Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namics and this time I used it with MFT felt. Love the sweet affect of the felt flower. Now, as far as my stitching with my machine goes, I didn't do the missing stitched on purpose, although it is kind of cool and didn't mind it, however if someone has a clue, why a sewing machine is doing this, will you please let me know? Maybe I need a tuneup? Who knows. Anyway, here is the inside of my card.

Today we continue our My Favorite Things Teasers for January and it's all about a'la modes. Our newest a'la modes is a Genie, appropriately for New Years, so you better make a wish...LOL Here is what I came up with.

I used Glitz papers and added some glitter to her pants, just as a genie should have.

MFT Teaser Day 4!

Welcome back to our My Favorite Things January Teaser days. We are on day 4 already. Hard to believe, isn't it? Time flies for sure and talk about time, this is my last post for 2011. Wishing you a fun night tonight, as we ring in a new year!

Today's card is created with a super fun set called At the Movies, which also has a coordinating Die-namics set. It's such a super fun set, I tell you! And even though the sentiment on my card is romance related, I thought it was also perfect for the last day of the year kind of sentiment as well.

The dies that coordinate with this set are seriously so adorable, I know you will have fun creating with them. I used My Minds Eye papers for this and just added a pop of red to the kraft/black look, and as a final touch added some black bling. Farewell Unity Hip Hop!

Hello friends, it's Unity Hip Hop time! And it is my last Unity Hip Hop as a Design Team member, which makes me sad, but it's something I had to do, so I can follow some dreams in 2012.

I can not thank enough Angela and Unity for taking a chance on me when Ippity first launched. Gosh, I remember what a happy day it was when she asked me if I would be interested on being on the Ippity team. And when our two teams merged it was a big dream come true for me to be on the Unity Design Team. I was so lucky to meet Angela several times in person and LOVED that opportunity, as if you think she is amazing online, she is even more amazing in life. I made friends within our team, friends I roomed with in hotels, connected with and I cherish and will keep in touch with. And let's talk about the stamps! I LOVE Unity stamps till the cows come home and even after that...LOL. I have taught classes with them and will keep doing so and you will see me sharing cards made with them, so there is no love lost for sure.

As far as the dreams I am following? I have two that I am following next year. One will be a crafty website that keeps me excited and hope people will enjoy it as well and the other is to get further training in life coaching, as I plan on becoming a hypnotherapist, which will take me a whole year and also learning EFT also known as tapping. I have a dream of helping people more than I do today and those two tools will allow me to help even more. So as you can see I do have a lot on my plate, but I am totally excited. I don't normally share about my personal life, but I hope you don't mind me sharing a little today. I promise, this is it for now. And if you read all this, thank you for your time.

And let me show you my last Unity Design team card, which I made using this week's Mojo Monday sketch, well at least the inspiration came from there. The stamps I used are stamps I haven't got to ink up till now, it's called Live what you Love. How appropriate is that? And the sentiment is not by chance either. :)

And if you haven't seen this set yet, here is what it looks like:

My card base was cut with Quickutz Nesting Lace Circles, which the largest is 5.5" wide, perfect for a card base. And did you see that pretty lace border? It literally just arrived from Papertrey Ink. I finally caved and ordered some of their dies.

Since Valentine's Day is our next holiday, we are introducing Bunch of Hearts Flopsey today. And along with Flopsey we have a new Layered Hearts Die-namics set that you will want so bad! Here is what I came up using both.

I decided to go with the Vintage look and paired up my cute Flopsey with some Prima papers. I also stamped the hearts a few times and layered them for added affect. It turned out pretty cute. And of course I had to pop the whole card with a turquoise ribbon. And here is the inside, which I stamped with all the hearts that come in the set. You will certainly love this set.

MFT Teaser Day 1!

Hi there, hope you had a beautiful Christmas! Today we are starting our My Favorite Things January Teasers, so get ready to drool over the newest stamps and Die-namics.

Our focus today is on our new Who is That Parisian Girl from the Who is that Girl line. I can't tell you how much I loved playing with this stamp set. There are some super cute background stamps in this set, which I created an orange/pink background with and look at our Parisian girl! She is something else!!!

Ok, so if you have loved MFT Die-namics in the past, you will definitely love them even more. Using our new Jumbo Monarch border I layered pink and black borders cut out to create the bottom part of my card. I LOVE the affect I got with it and hey, how about that Eifel Tower and also our new Rolled Scallop Flower??? Love these all! On my inside I used quite a bit more Die-namics and more of the pretty background stamps.

Thought I would share a few cards I made with Creative Imaginations papers. All the papers are by Barb Tourtilotte, her Dear Santa line. I also used a few stamps, the pretty poinsettia is by Unity Stamps and the Merry Christmas stamp is by My Favorite Things. MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge

Welcome back! Hope you enjoyed the newest My Favorite Things VIP Collection and picked them up! Today I am back with our Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge sketch card.

I don't know if you have have ever heard of this, so I might be telling you something new. In my birth country, Hungary, we don't only celebrate birthdays, but we also have name days, literally everyone has a day, when people celebrate their names. Adam and Eva is celebrated on Christmas Eve day, and so it happens, that my Godmother's name is Eva as well, so I wanted to make her a special card for her name day. And of course, it couldn't really say happy birthday...LOL, so this is what I came up with using our gorgeous Inspired by Flowers Set#2.

I kept the inside simple, yet pretty, so I can write my special note just for her. I sure hope she likes it.

Who is That Girl VIP Product Tour

Hi there, it's My Favorite Things VIP Product Tour time! Now, you may not realize this, but I colored my PI a new way. I got a sweet Christmas card from none other that our famously talented Jodi Collins and I oogled over her way of coloring our PI so much that I decided to try on the way she colored her hair and the way she outlined her, so that is how I came up with this. Thank you once again Jodi, as your card was a lesson itself for me!!! Hope you all like our new PI as much as I do. And here is the inside of this little card.

Justrite Christmas card

Good Monday morning to you all! Wishing you a wonderful week leading up to Christmas. Are you ready? Did you do your shopping? Did you plan your dinner for the big day? We are going to spend our Christmas with our friends, like Thanksgiving, which we are looking forward to very much. I have to remind myself to take pictures, this time I am taking my camera with us for sure...

Anyway, I have another Christmas card to share with you today, which I designed with JustRite Stampers stamps and posted on the Scrap-mart blog yesterday. I used October Afternoon's Holiday Style papers once again. I can't tell you how much I love these papers.

I used JustRite Stampers O Christmas Tree clear stamp set for this card. My card shape was cut with Quickutz Nesting Lace Squares, which the biggest die is 5.5X square, so it's perfect for card base. I also used Spellbinders Labels Fourteen on this card.

Mixed Media Unity Style

I have a fun card to share with you today, that I posted on the Unity Blog. It was simple to create as my mixed media element was an already cut out and stitched up heart shaped canvas by Canvas Corp. I so love these little canvas shapes, and you can totally stamp on them, which is what I did. I used my Palette ink pad, which is hybrid and my favorite ink choice as well.

Here is what I came up with. For my doily I used Creative Imaginations Marah Johnson's Monarch Allegro paper and cut it out with My Favorite Things High Tea Party Doily.

I envisioned my card with Poinsettias and I found them in our November 2010 Kit of the Month. They were waiting for me with the pretty sentiment as well. Here is the set if you are looking for it. There are many pretty stamps in that set to play with for sure. Lots to love.

Hi there, happy Hip Hop at Unity Stamp Co. Unity is releasing new stamps this week and one of the Itty Bitty stamps that is coming out happens to be a Donna Downey sentiment, which I so love. Enjoy. Explore. Believe. I love the meaning of it, and I love the design of it! I used Basic Grey papers on this card. My flower and leaves are Spellbinders and my pretty iron gate border is a Sizzix Tim Holtz die, in case you are wondering

I am still in Christmas card making mode, so once again I pulled out the Clearly Sentimental by Christmas set and added some Creative Imaginations Winter Song papers to it and here is what I came up with.

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you, just in time for the holidays. I have a confession to make, I am DEEPLY IN LOVE with Samantha's Encompassed Grace Unity Stamp set, and I can't stop using them. If you get one stamp set from Samantha, I highly recommend this set. It comes with gorgeous sentiments for all occasions. For this Christmas card however I combined it with her Greetings of Christmas Unity Stamp set, which is another favorite of mine and you can't go wrong with either of these sets.

MFT Design Team Challenge

Hi there, are you still planning your christmas shopping? Are you still questioning what to get for your loved ones? Well, our Design Team at My Favorite Things challenged each other for a new theme:

IT'S A WRAP

So, I was thinking of a few ideas that I could do, but I kept coming back to the gift card holder idea. However I wanted to come up with a creative MFT way to do my gift card, so here is what I came up. I made a little purse looking holding using our Die-namics.

I will share a tutorial video of this gift card holder in a few days, as I made this at at scrapbook retreat last weekend, and didn't have my camera with me. In the meantime I can tell you that to create the handle I used two Die-namics:

Here is the inside of my gift card holder and even inside I used one of the Die-namics, the bracket tab from the Mini Tabs Foursome set. See, how far you can stretch your Die-namics??? Oh and in case you are wondering about my papers, they are Tim Holtz papers and I distressed them with Distress inks, otherwise they are kraft color, but I will show you in my tutorial later on.

Holiday tags and JustRite Stampers sale!

Hi there, I wanted to share some of my Christmas tags I created for Scrap-mart's blog hop this week. There is one more day of hopping and you don't want to miss out!!! I used a few companies products in these projects. I was a lucky recipient of some very yummy October Afternoon goodies from their Holiday Style line and I also received an amazing package with tons of goodies from Canvas Corp, so I wanted to show you what I made using them. I also included some JustRite Stampers and Spellbinders while I was at it, so here is what I created with them.

I love holiday tags and I think most people do, so I started off making a few of those. I wanted to use one of the gorgeous Snowflake Spellbinder dies and I managed to use that as the common product on all three of my tags. For base papers I used Canvas Corp papers, but than I embellished them with some October Afternoon stickers and also stamped my tag with JustRite Stampers Lace Borders Cling set. Let me show you my tags.

MFT December Product Tour

It's official!!! The My Favorite Things December stamps and Die-namics have been released, so you can shop now! And to help you with your shopping, our designers have planned to show you all our new goodies in a Product Tour. Make sure you check out all the designer's blogs as each of us are showing something different from this release, so it's just another peek at everything. And to help you with your list, we even have a checklist, which you can download from Kim's blog. How fun is that!!!

The stamp set I am highlighting today is a'la modes Hot Cocoa Cutie. I have said this in the past, but I can't say it enough, I always have such a fun time creating with our a'la modes line. Here is what I made with our newest cutie.

For this card I chose to work with Lilybee papers, which I thought was fitting the theme. And of course I used our newest flower Die-namics, the gorgeous Fringed Perennial. For the inside of my card I used the Mini Tabs Foursome to create sort of an awning look. I just thought it looked kind of cool and a different way of using tabs.

MFT Teaser Day 6!

Hello again. Welcome once again for our My Favorite Things Teaser. It's day 6 already....WOW time sure flies. Ok, so what's your favorite so far? I haven't asked yet, so I thought I would...LOL

Today it's all about Pure Innocence. My card today is showcasing the adorable Holly Girl. Don't you just love her little dress??? She was begging to be paper pieced, so I couldn't resist.

Once again I used October Afternoon's Holiday Style line for my card. My doily was cut out of kraft cardstock, which I embossed again but than I painted it with Ranger White Picket Fence Distress ink and after that I just went over the raised images with Vintage photo to have them pop. I think it turned out pretty cute, don't you? And here is the inside.

MFT Teaser Day 4!

Hi again, can you believe we are on day 4? Time sure flies. So, let's get our new day of My Favorite Things December Teaser started. Today we are sharing our new stamp sets that have coordinating Die-namics to go with.

The stamp set I chose to work with is called Always Time for Tea and believe me when I say this, this will be a HUGE hit!!! I am so in love with the stamp designs and who could not love a cute teapot with teacup? My friends and I go to tea parties once in a while, so this set will be used a bit by me for sure.

I paired up this gorgeous set with equally gorgeous Prima papers and I am so in love with embossing our doilies lately, so that is just what I did in the background of my teapot.

Unity Hip Hop!

Hi there, it's Unity Hip Hop time! And it's time for our new December sketch challenge!

I have a card created with it using our November Kit of the Month. I love this cup in all kinds of way and I love the look of the sentiment, too. I colored my cup with Copic markers and the papers are by Echo Park paper, another LOVE.
